Erfurt, December 21, 2023: GLOBUS Handelshof St. Wendel GmbH & Co. KG continues its innovative support for local sports clubs, expanding the GLOBUS Vereinsförderung (Club Support Program) to its market halls in Erfurt-Linderbach and Erfurt-Mittelhausen. Following a successful launch in several market halls across North Rhine-Westphalia (e.g., Bochum, Duisburg, Essen, Castrop-Rauxel, and others), GLOBUS is now helping thousands of its customers’ favorite clubs in the greater Erfurt area with direct cash rewards for every purchase. This initiative bolsters club activities and sets new standards in community engagement.
For the program's implementation, GLOBUS collaborates with the Erfurt-based startup MyFavorito, a fan-powered sponsorship platform.

How It Works: For every €40 spent at participating GLOBUS market halls, customers receive a Vereinsschein (club voucher) valued at €0.50. By scanning this voucher through MyFavorito and selecting their favorite club, customers can directly contribute to their club’s funds. All 90,000 registered sports clubs in Germany are eligible to participate. Clubs not yet registered can easily sign up via MyFavorito's club registration to join the program.
Customer Perks: Each scanned Vereinsschein gives customers a chance to win instant prizes through the GLOBUS Glücksrad (GLOBUS prize wheel) on the MyFavorito app. Rewards range from small treats, like meatloaf sandwiches, to shopping vouchers and even fully stocked shopping carts filled with GLOBUS-brand products. Additionally, customers can earn loyalty points by inviting friends to join. These points can also be used to spin the prize wheel, offering even more chances to win exciting prizes.
Monthly Club Challenge: In each market hall, scanned vouchers are tallied in a GLOBUS-exclusive club challenge on MyFavorito. Monthly rankings determine extra prizes for the most active clubs:
1st Place: A set of 17 CRAFT-branded training suits for one of the club’s teams.
2nd Place: A €100 GLOBUS shopping voucher for a club celebration.
3rd Place: A €50 GLOBUS shopping voucher.
